Cruisin'

This first picture is from a couple of days ago, but I just had to provide proof that Lily finds Minnie Mouse every single time we go shopping. (And notice Gabriel in the background holding Tinker bell.) Also, don't judge me for the bow not matching very well. She insisted on that one.

Yesterday was pretty fun. It started out with a trip to get donuts where the kids got to ride in their Papa's hot rod, which they always love. Then we got to visit BOTH sets of grandparents and have dinner at Chick-fil-a. Gabriel doesn't eat much there, but he had still been asking to go for a while because he likes the play area.

Today we went to church, where I've been asked to work on family history. So I learned a little bit about that, and I may or may not actually be able to contribute to what's already been done. So that's cool.
My favorite part, though, was when I went to pick up Gabriel from his nursery class. His teacher told me that they were learning to say "I'm sorry" and talking about hypothetical times when it would be appropriate. The situation they gave Gabriel was that his mommy asked him to clean up his toys and he said no. Instead of explaining that he would say sorry, Gabriel said, "I would NEVER say no to my mommy!" (Not true...at all.)
They told him it was just pretend, and he just repeated, "I would NEVER say no to my mommy!"
He sure is funny. And, to be fair, he actually is usually pretty good about picking up his toys when he's asked.
